Each hospital uses different instruments, reagents and calculation methods for Down's screening, so the risk cut-off value for Down's is also different. Most hospitals use 1/270 as the risk cut-off value. Less than 1/270 is a low risk for Down's, and 1/490 is also a low risk for Down's.
