Why does cold meet fever

Colds are mostly caused by viral and bacterial infections. Fever is an immune response against viruses, bacteria and other pathogens. Common colds are self-healing and fever symptoms can be relieved by themselves. If immunity is poor, fever symptoms will last for a long time and even need medication to be controlled.
