Breastfeeding causes jaundice in children to be divided into two situations. One is jaundice caused by early-onset breast milk. It is caused by insufficient breast milk, which causes the child not to ingest normal fluid and calories, resulting in slow excretion of stool and normal excretion of bilirubin through the intestinal tract. The other is jaundice caused by 20 days later, when the child ingests a large amount of breast milk, some enzymes in breast milk cause bilirubin production, and liver and intestinal circulation increase.
