How to distinguish false aneurysm from true aneurysm

False aneurysm and true aneurysm may be distinguished by ultrasound, clinical manifestations and etiological factors.
1. Ultrasonic
false aneurysm is generally caused by local arterial wall injury rupture, blood into the surrounding soft tissue produced hematoma; while true aneurysm is a staged full-thickness expansion of the blood vessel, the diameter of the expanded blood vessel is larger than the normal value.
2. Clinical manifestations
False aneurysm clinical manifestations can be touched to the pulsatile feeling of the mass; while true aneurysm is along the artery line round or fusiform mass.
3. Etiology
False aneurysm is caused by infection, trauma, autoimmune diseases and other factors, while true aneurysm is mostly caused by degenerative changes in the arterial wall, the wall gradually local expansion and formation.
