Instep pain is not gout

Gout usually occurs in the first joint of the toe and finger joints. You'd better go to the hospital for blood uric acid, X-ray, MRI and other tests to confirm the diagnosis. If gout is diagnosed, you can take colchicine and other drugs as prescribed.
