Hand, foot and mouth disease can be infusion

Fluid infusion is not normally recommended for HFMD because HFMD is caused by an enterovirus infection and is self-limiting, most of which can be resolved by itself or promoted by symptomatic medication. However, if severe HFMD is present and complicated with more severe bacterial infections, fluid infusion may be required to prevent serious complications and even life-threatening conditions. Patients with HFMD should drink plenty of water, rest more, and strengthen nutrition intake to promote recovery of the disease. Quarantine should be carried out in time to prevent close contact with others, in case of infection or even pandemics.
