HPV virus is a sexually transmitted disease

HPV virus is not a sexually transmitted disease. HPV virus is a double-stranded DNA virus. At present, there are more than 200 subtypes. Among them, high-risk type can lead to cervical cancer in women. After human body is infected with other subtypes of virus, condyloma acuminatum and common warts may appear. Condyloma acuminatum caused by HPV virus is a sexually transmitted disease.
