What is acinar soft tissue sarcoma?

Building bridges to better health.
Alveolar soft tissue sarcoma is a rare malignant tumor. Its origin is not clear, but it usually has unique pathological features.
Early symptoms may not be obvious, but later may appear mass, pain, etc. Tumor growth is slow, patients may inadvertently find local mass, as the disease progresses, may be accompanied by tenderness or affect the surrounding tissue function. It needs to combine pathological examination, immunohistochemistry and other means. Microscopic observation of tumor cell morphology, structure and other characteristics, and the use of specific immune markers to assist diagnosis to improve accuracy.
The overall prognosis is relatively poor, prone to distant metastasis. Common metastatic sites include lung, bone, brain, etc., after metastasis treatment is more difficult, affecting the quality of life and survival of patients. In short, alveolar soft tissue sarcoma although rare, but need to cause sufficient attention, early diagnosis, standardized treatment is essential to improve the prognosis of patients.
