Due to various reasons, the liquid in the meibomian gland duct thickens, and lipid plugs are easily formed at the opening, showing light yellow blisters. There may be no symptoms or accompanied by slight foreign body sensation. Lipids can be discharged by eyelid massage. If the eyelid skin shows small blisters, it may be caused by allergy or virus infection. Normal eyelid skin will show symptoms such as skin congestion and swelling. If secondary bacterial infection is caused, purulent small blisters may also be shown.
