When is a woman safe?

A woman's safe period is the time other than ovulation. For women with regular menstruation, ovulation is about 14 days before the next menstrual cycle. The first five days and the last four days are collectively referred to as ovulation. If a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days, that is, the first nine days and the last nine days of menstruation can be counted as safe period.
