The formation of breast masses is usually considered to be related to hormonal disorders in the body, such as mental factors, unreasonable diet, drug factors, etc., which lead to changes in hormone levels in the body, including elevated estrogen. And increased progesterone, these changes can lead to the formation of breast masses. Contraceptives are usually composed of different types of estrogen and/or progesterone. If taken after surgery, they may further interfere with hormone levels in the body, thus increasing the risk of recurrence of breast lumps. Therefore, contraceptives are usually not recommended after surgery.
