Empowering you to live your best life.
HPV 52 and 68 are two high-risk types of HPV. Positive results indicate infection with these viruses, which are generally closely related to cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, anal cancer and other cancers.
HPV 52 and 68 infection can cause squamous cell proliferation in the genital tract and anal area, which can lead to cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, anal cancer and other diseases. However, most women infected with HPV do not develop cancer, but can clear the virus through their own immune system.
If the infection persists, cervical cell abnormalities and cervical cancer may occur. Therefore, for women who are HPV52 and 68 positive, colposcopy should be performed to determine whether cervical cell abnormalities or cancer exist. If abnormal or cancer is found, appropriate treatment measures such as surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, etc.
