Gastric examination includes gastroscopy and gastric mucosa biopsy, which is used to determine whether there is any lesion, the location, size, benign or malignant of the lesion, and whether there is bleeding. If there is bleeding, hemostasis can be treated under gastroscopy. Gastrointestinal barium meal examination is mainly used for those who cannot tolerate gastroscopy, or gastroscopy contraindications. Abdominal standing plain film is used to check for gastrointestinal perforation. Breath test is used to check for HP infection. Vomiting (if any) and stool culture and occult blood test; others include gastric juice analysis, serum gastrin determination, blood routine, etc. Gastroscopy is an invasive examination. These examinations can generally identify various gastric lesions.
