What is Myoglobin High?

Myoglobin exists in large quantities in human cardiomyocytes. If your myoglobin value is only a small increase, there is no obvious abnormality in cardiac enzymes and ECG, it is likely to be caused by fatigue and staying up late. If the patient's ECG and cardiac enzymes are obviously abnormal, it is likely that myocardial damage has occurred, which is more common in patients with coronary heart disease and myocarditis.
