What causes nipple pain during menstruation?

Restoring health, one step at a time.
During menstruation, nipple pain may be related to factors such as bad lifestyle, papilltis, and hyperplasia of mammary glands.
1. Bad lifestyle
During menstruation, the body is relatively sensitive. If you wear too rough and tight underwear, it may cause friction on the nipples, stimulate the peripheral pain nerves, and feel nipple pain.
2. Papill-like
menstruation, some women due to decreased body resistance, especially in the case of nipple damage or chap, are vulnerable to bacterial invasion, causing nipple inflammation, and then stimulate the nerve endings around the nipples, causing pain.
3. Hyperplasia of mammary glands
During menstruation, due to the imbalance of estrogen and progesterone in the body, it will also promote hyperplasia of mammary glands, and then pull and squeeze the surrounding tissues, causing pain in the nipples.
