How to determine if testicular torsion

Dedicated to your healing journey.
Testicular torsion can be judged by physical examination, color Doppler ultrasound, radionuclide scanning, etc., as follows:
1. Physical examination
patients can determine whether the testis is elevated, swollen, hardened and whether the testicular reflex is weakened through physical examination to help determine whether testicular torsion occurs.
2. Color Doppler
ultrasound is a common imaging examination method for examining testicular torsion, which can help determine the position of the testis and whether the blood supply is reduced to help diagnose the disease.
3. Radionuclide scanning
patients can also measure testicular blood flow through radionuclide 99mTc testicular scanning to provide basis for diagnosis and treatment of testicular torsion.
