Causes of hypospadias

Hypospadias is related to family genetic history, maternal exposure to harmful substances, and abnormal embryonic development.

1. Family genetic history

If the patient has a family genetic history of hypospadias, it has a certain genetic tendency, and the risk of hypospadias is relatively higher than that of normal people.

2. Maternal exposure to harmful substances

If the patient is in the fetal period, maternal exposure to ionizing radiation, epoxides, nitrosamines and other substances can easily affect the normal growth and development of the fetus, causing hypospadias.
