What is oliguria?

Oliguria is generally caused by these conditions: prerenal hematuria refers to insufficient blood volume, patients drink less water, anemia, hemorrhagic shock, can cause renal perfusion deficiency, showing oliguria phenomenon. The second is caused by the kidney itself, such as acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome can cause renal glomerular filtration rate decreased, resulting in decreased urine volume. The third type of urine volume reduction is postrenal, generally related to urinary tract obstruction. For example, urethral stricture, prostatic hyperplasia, bladder neck obstruction, huge bladder stones, neurogenic bladder can cause urine volume reduction.
