How to treat hydrocele in newborn

Neonatal hydrocele can be treated by acute phase treatment, general treatment, surgical treatment and other methods.

1, acute phase treatment

If the newborn is in acute phase, local severe swelling, need to timely puncture liquid extraction treatment, reduce local pressure, relieve swelling, pain and other symptoms.

2, general treatment

If the course of the newborn is slow, hydrocele volume is relatively small, no obvious symptoms, follow-up observation, usually do not need treatment.

3, surgical treatment

If the condition is serious, in line with the surgical indications, can be performed hydrocele folding, hydrocele inversion, hydrocele fenestration and other operations to promote disease rehabilitation.
