How to treat micro-lesion kidney disease

Building bridges to better health.
The main treatments for MCD are general treatment, symptomatic treatment, and hormonal and cytotoxic drug therapy.
1. General treatment
includes rest and diet. Severe edema should be bed rest. Patients with MCD should pay attention to protein, fat, and salt intake.
2. Symptomatic treatment
aims to diuretic swelling and reduce urinary protein. Clinically, diuretics and albumin infusion are commonly used.
3. Hormonal and cytotoxic drug therapy
for MCD is usually given first with high doses of glucocorticoids, which are slowly reduced after symptom relief to minimize recurrence. Clinically, common hormones include prednisolone or cyclophosphamide.
For hormone-dependent, ineffective cases, cytotoxic drugs such as cyclophosphamide and prednisone are used.
