How to distinguish between neonatal jaundice physiological and pathological

Physiological jaundice generally appears in about 2-3 days after birth, and will subside by itself after 7-10 days. Its condition is mild and appetite is good. Pathological jaundice generally appears within 2-4 hours after birth and will last for about 2-4 weeks. Its condition is serious, so it can be treated with blue light according to doctor's advice.
