What are the differences between uterine polyps and cervical polyps?

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
Uterine polyps and cervical polyps differ in the following ways: first, the location of growth is different, uterine polyps are often polyps growing in the endometrium, while cervical polyps are vegetations formed on the surface of the cervix. Second, uterine polyps are clinically normal due to endometrial hyperplasia, that is, vegetations expressed under estrogen stimulation. Cervical polyps are polyps formed due to bacterial infection and chronic inflammation. The third is that the clinical symptoms are different. Cervical polyps often cause bleeding after cohabitation, while uterine polyps can cause prolonged menstrual time or shortened menstrual cycle or may cause infertility clinically. This is the difference between the two in clinical practice.
