Prostate PSA Normal

Passionate about making a difference.
Prostate PSA is a prostate-specific antigen that is often used in clinical practice. Prostate PSA has a high specificity for prostate cancer. Therefore, PSA detection techniques or unit standards are different in each center. However, the main standard or main clinical observation point is above 4ng/ml. Therefore, we can understand that 4ng/ml or less is a normal value. If it is above 4ng/ml, it is between 4-10ng/ml, which is called a gray interval. The gray scale interval should be combined with other tests, such as the ratio of characteristic antigen divided by the ratio of the whole PSA. If this ratio is above 16%, it is relatively safe. If it is below this interval, the probability of prostate tumor is also relatively large. If it is above 4ng/ml, or color Doppler ultrasound, or other imaging tests, nodules are found. The most important physical examination is prostate digital examination. After examination, nodules can be felt, and the probability of prostate tumor may be relatively high. Prostate puncture is recommended for patients. The normal range of prostate PSA in the elderly is below 4ng/ml.
