Can the superficial lymph nodes under the armpit be touched?

Superficial lymph nodes are mostly considered to be caused by chronic inflammation. Under normal circumstances, axillary lymph nodes cannot be touched. If lymph nodes are enlarged and can be touched, tenderness occurs, it is considered to be caused by infection. It is recommended to go to hospital for further examination.
