Treatment of duodenal bulb polyps

Duodenal polyps can be treated with general treatment, drug therapy, surgery, etc.

1. General treatment

For small, asymptomatic or symptomatic polyps, regular observation, adjustment of diet and lifestyle, reduction of high salt, high fat, high sugar food intake.

2. Drug therapy

After surgical treatment, anti-infective drugs can be prescribed to prevent infection and promote wound healing. Commonly used drugs are cefdinir, cephalosporins, amoxicillin, etc.

3. Surgical treatment

For larger polyps or polyps with obvious symptoms, surgical treatment is required, including endoscopic resection, conventional surgical resection, etc.
