The simplest way to distinguish between yin deficiency and yang deficiency in children

There is no simple way to distinguish Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency in children. Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency in children can be distinguished by inspection, inquiry and palpation, as follows:
1. Inspection of
Yin deficiency patients can be yellow and red, tongue red and less fur or no fur. Inspection of Yang deficiency patients can be white, lips blue, tongue pale and fat.
2. The
doctor can inquire about the subject. If the patient complains of dry mouth, yellow and red urine, dry stools, hot and night sweats, five-upset fever, etc., it is suggested as Yin deficiency. If the patient complains of light mouth, fear of cold, limbs are not warm, urine is clear and long, long-term diarrhea, etc., it is suggested as Yang deficiency.
3. The doctor
can diagnose the subject. Generally, Yin deficiency patients can show narrow and thin pulse and accelerated pulse, while Yang deficiency patients can show deep and thin pulse.
