Bladder B-mode ultrasound can examine bladder shape and size, bladder wall structure, bladder foreign body, bladder tumor, residual urine volume and other contents. 1. Bladder shape and size can clearly observe the overall outline of the bladder, determine whether there is abnormal deformation, bulging or shrinking. 2. The structure of the bladder wall can show whether the bladder wall is smooth, thickened, diverticulum and other abnormal manifestations. If the bladder wall is thickened, it may indicate the presence of inflammation, tumor and other lesions. 3. Whether there are foreign bodies such as stones and blood clots in the bladder can be detected by B ultrasound. Stones usually appear as strong echogenic light masses accompanied by acoustic shadows, and blood clots may present irregular echogenic areas. 4. The presence or absence of tumor in the bladder B ultrasound can be better displayed for larger bladder tumors, but there may be certain limitations for smaller tumors. If suspicious masses are found, further examination is needed to clarify the nature. 5. Residual urine volume By measuring the amount of urine remaining in the bladder after urination, it is helpful to evaluate the urinary function of the bladder. In short, bladder B-ultrasound is a simple, noninvasive and important examination method, which is of great significance for the initial diagnosis and screening of bladder diseases. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to combine other tests, such as cystoscopy, urinalysis, etc., to obtain a more accurate diagnosis.
