Amblyopia and strabismus at the same time disease which first treatment

Amblyopia may be treated first because it may be caused by

strabismus. If amblyopia is not treated promptly, it may cause further visual deterioration and may even affect the other eye. Correction of amblyopia can improve vision and create better conditions for subsequent strabismus treatment.

However, in some cases, strabismus may need to be treated first, especially if strabismus seriously affects appearance or results in impaired binocular visual function.
