Tibia fracture prone parts are

Dedicated to your healing journey.
Tibia fracture prone site is the middle and lower 1/3 junction. The
middle and lower 1/3 junction of tibia is the transition site where the shaft gradually changes from triangular to quadrangular. The bone cortex here is relatively thin, and the stress resistance is weak. It is more prone to fracture when subjected to external force. The blood supply of this site mainly depends on the nutrient artery from up to down, and its branches are few. once damaged, it is easy to affect the local blood supply, resulting in slow fracture healing and even nonunion.
In addition, in daily life, indirect violence such as falling, sprain, etc. often acts on this site, especially when the foot is in plantar flexion, which easily causes the middle and lower 1/3 junction of tibia to bear large torsional force and shear force, thus causing fracture.
