Stomach bleeding can be stomach cancer

Gastric bleeding may be caused by gastric cancer.

Gastric cancer is a malignant disease originating from gastric epithelial cells, usually caused by genetic, precancerous lesions, Helicobacter pylori infection, environmental and dietary interactions. Gastric bleeding may be caused by gastric cancer invading surrounding blood vessels. However, gastric bleeding may also be caused by other diseases, such as peptic ulcer, gastritis, esophageal varices, esophageal and cardiac tear syndrome, etc.

If gastric cancer is suspected, go to hospital for endoscopy, pathological biopsy, laboratory and imaging examinations as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis.
