1. Eye chart examination The

patient sits on a chair 5m away from the eye chart and covers his eyes in turn. With the doctor identifying the opening orientation of the E letter in the examination table, it can preliminarily determine whether myopia is present and estimate the degree of myopia.

2. Mydriatic optometry The

patient needs to use mydriatic agents to relax the eye ciliary muscles, and then use medical instruments to measure the difference between the convergence and divergence of the eye and the emmetropia to determine the degree of myopia.

3. Optometry

First, the doctor will use a retinoscope to project a beam of light to the retina, and observe the shadow of the reflected light to determine whether myopia is present, and determine its diopter with a spherical lens.
