Dry eye

is caused by tear film instability or eye surface damage caused by eye discomfort, mainly manifested as eye fatigue, foreign body sensation, dryness and other symptoms, mainly due to insufficient tear secretion, excessive tear evaporation, abnormal tear composition and other factors. If it is dry eye caused by excessive evaporation of tears and abnormal tear components, yawning and tearing may be due to meibomian gland dysfunction, resulting in oil secretion in meibomian gland, resulting in unstable tear film, resulting in tears. This situation does not indicate that the condition is improving.
