Femtosecond laser surgery can be performed for myopia up to 1500 degrees.

Femtosecond laser surgery mainly reduces corneal refractive index by cutting cornea to correct myopia. If the degree of myopia is above 1500 degrees, femtosecond laser surgery needs to remove deep cornea, which is easy to cause complications such as keratoconus and corneal perforation. Therefore, femtosecond laser surgery is not recommended for patients with myopia above 1500 degrees.
