Can orbital dermoid cyst move?

Orbital dermoid cysts should be judged according to the growth position. If

the main body of orbital dermoid cyst is located in the subperiosteal space, it usually does not appear active; if the main body of orbital dermoid cyst is located on the periosteal surface or in the muscle cone space, the cyst may appear active at palpation. Orbital dermoid cyst is usually caused by congenital dysplasia. If the patient has no conscious symptoms, special treatment is generally unnecessary. If the cyst affects the appearance and function of the patient, it can be completely removed by surgery.
