What causes myopia to be inherited?

Myopia can be inherited because it has a certain genetic tendency.

Myopia refers to a state in which parallel light rays entering the eye cannot be accurately focused on the retina and clearly imaged due to a combination of factors. It is a relatively common eye disease. Myopia has a genetic tendency and there is a certain family aggregation. If both parents or one of them has myopia, then the possibility of their children suffering from myopia is higher. High myopia can occur autosomal recessive inheritance.

Myopia is generally a controllable and correctable disease and usually does not affect normal working life.
