How to deal with fishbone stuck throat

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
The fishbone stuck in the throat can be handled by slight coughing, swallowing food, Heimlich method, tweezers removal, laryngoscope removal, etc. 1. Patients with slight cough can try to cough slightly and cough up the fishbone stuck in the superficial part of the throat with airflow. 2. Swallowing food If the fishbone is relatively superficial, it can be promoted into the stomach by swallowing food. If pain occurs, it should be stopped immediately. 3. Heimlich method When the fishbone is stuck in the throat and breathing difficulties occur, Heimlich method should be used immediately. The rescuer stands behind the patient, holds the patient from the waist with both arms, clenches his fist with one hand, presses the patient's abdomen inward with his fist, wraps his fist with the other hand, and impacts backward and upward with force to rush out the fish bone through the airflow. 4. Tweezers take out If the fishbone position is shallow and easy to observe, you can use a flashlight to illuminate the throat in a bright place, and try to pinch out the fishbone with tweezers. 5. Throatscope can also be observed through a laryngoscope to view the fishbone in the throat and remove it to reduce throat damage. If the fishbone is stuck in the throat and cannot be removed by itself, or if symptoms such as pain or difficulty breathing occur, seek medical attention immediately to ensure safety.
