If you're pregnant, will the ovulation test still show ovulation?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Ovulation tests generally do not show ovulation if it is pregnant.
After conception, hormone levels in a woman's body change significantly. Among them, human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) levels rise, which interacts with hormones involved in ovulation and inhibits new ovulation. Ovulation tests predict ovulation by detecting peaks in luteinizing hormone (LH). once pregnant, LH secretion patterns change and there is no longer a typical peak before ovulation, so ovulation tests usually no longer show positive results, indicating that ovulation is about to occur or is occurring.
After pregnancy, ovarian function will also be adjusted to maintain pregnancy rather than continue the ovulation process. If there is doubt about pregnancy or other related problems, it is recommended to consult a professional doctor for more accurate examination and diagnosis.
