Therefore, whether benign tumors need to be removed depends on factors such as tumor size, location, growth rate, age, health status, etc. For some small and asymptomatic benign tumors, doctors may choose to observe and wait rather than perform surgery immediately. However, surgical removal may be necessary if the benign tumor causes symptoms or if there is a risk of malignancy. The need to remove benign tumors should be evaluated and decided by the physician on a case-by-case basis.
