What is the disease of esophageal posterior mediastinal occupation

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Esophageal posterior mediastinal mass is considered to be esophageal cyst, intramediastinal goiter, schwannoma and other diseases, as follows:
1. Esophageal cyst
is located in the posterior mediastinum. If the embryonic cells in the esophagus during embryonic development occur ectopic, it may cause esophageal cyst, which may cause esophageal posterior mediastinal mass in imaging examination.
2. Intramediastinal goiter
is close to the thoracic entrance. If the goiter is large, it may extend into the mediastinum to form intramediastinal goiter, resulting in the above conditions.
3. Schwannoma
is a benign tumor derived from nerve sheath cells. If this tumor grows in the posterior mediastinum of esophagus, it will cause esophageal posterior mediastinal mass.
