Chronic ileitis symptoms

The symptoms of chronic ileitis are abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension, etc., as follows:

1. Abdominal

pain is a common symptom of chronic ileitis, mostly caused by intestinal spasm caused by the stimulation of inflammatory factors to the ileum.

2. Diarrhea

Inflammatory factors and pathogens stimulate the intestinal mucosa, and the secretion of liquid from the intestinal mucosa increases, which may be mixed with food residues and discharged into the large intestine, causing diarrhea.

3. Abdominal distension The

main function of ileum is to absorb and digest food. In the case of chronic ileitis, the normal physiological function of ileum is affected, and the digestion speed of food is slowed down. It may be retained in the intestinal tract for fermentation and gas production, thus causing abdominal distension.
