What is the difference between fetal movement and intestinal motility?

. Duration is different.

Usually around 20 weeks of pregnancy, pregnant women can feel fetal movement, and will continue until delivery, the frequency and intensity of fetal movement will increase with the progress of pregnancy. Intestinal movement is a spontaneous process, usually persistent, but mostly without obvious discomfort.

3. Symptoms are different.

Fetal movement is usually described as a slight tremor or tap, sometimes feel like a butterfly flying in the stomach. Intestinal movement is usually accompanied by a slight sound and feeling, may cause slight discomfort, but not as regular periodic as fetal movement.
