What are the main causes of cholecystitis?

Cholecystitis is a disease of gallbladder inflammation. The main causes are often related to the following factors

: 1. cystic duct obstruction

If the patient has gallstones, it may cause cystic duct obstruction, torsion, lead to bile retention, release of inflammatory factors, and cholecystitis.

2. Pathogenic bacteria invade

Gram-negative bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, etc. If they invade the gallbladder through blood circulation or retrograde bile duct, they will reproduce and grow, and inflammation will occur.

3. Gallbladder cholestasis

If the patient has burns or long-term parenteral nutrition, it may lead to gallbladder cholestasis or ischemia, resulting in cholecystitis, and it is also prone to gallbladder necrosis and empyema.
