Is liver ascites cured?

Liver ascites also has cured cases, specific needs to be analyzed according to the patient's condition. The

formation of liver ascites is mainly related to portal hypertension. If portal hypertension is caused by factors such as extrahepatic venous thrombosis and external compression, liver ascites caused by acute appendicitis, pancreatitis and other diseases can be cured after active treatment, and liver ascites phenomenon will disappear.

If portal hypertension is caused by liver cirrhosis, constrictive pericarditis, severe right heart failure and other diseases, patients can only alleviate disease symptoms through treatment, and cannot reverse the disease. Therefore, liver ascites caused by such diseases cannot be cured.
