What is False Hypertension?

Passionate about making a difference.
False hypertension may be caused by blood pressure fluctuations, limited measurement techniques, severe arteriosclerosis, etc.
1. Blood pressure fluctuations
Direct measurement of upper limb blood pressure and simultaneous measurement of aortic blood pressure will be different, mainly related to proximal to distal progressive changes and pulse reflex intensity.
2. Limited measurement techniques
Accuracy in the process of measuring blood pressure will be limited by some technical details, and pseudohypertension will generally occur.
3. Severe arteriosclerosis
When severe arteriosclerosis exists for a long time, the brachial artery intima will be abnormally thickened, and the pressure on the arterial wall will increase, thus causing blood pressure changes.
