Ultrasound of renal artery

Renal artery ultrasound examination is to check whether the renal artery system is normal after ultrasound examination, especially for patients with hypertension, renal artery ultrasound examination must be done. In patients with hypertension, many patients are due to renal artery stenosis caused by hypertension, most of the renal artery stenosis may be caused by atherosclerosis, and the incidence increases gradually with age. If hypertension patients are clearly caused by renal artery stenosis, stents can be placed in the renal artery stenosis site through intervention, which will obviously control hypertension, and can also improve the renal function of many patients with renal artery stenosis, and can identify whether hypertension is caused by renal artery stenosis. Therefore, for hypertensive patients, a renal artery ultrasound examination should be routinely done.
