Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a disease caused by hypertrophy of the left ventricular wall caused by excessive proliferation or hypertrophy of cardiomyocytes, mainly manifested as thickening of the left ventricular wall, which may lead to limited ventricular filling and impaired cardiac systolic function.

Restrictive cardiomyopathy is a rare myocardial disease characterized by myocardial stiffness, resulting in restricted cardiac chamber and affecting normal diastolic function of the heart. Common causes include amyloidosis, fibrosis, iron deficiency cardiomyopathy, etc.
