Principles of treatment of tibiofibular fractures

Restoring health, restoring hope.
If the patient shows tibiofibular fracture, the principles of treatment: one is to restore the fracture end alignment; the other is to perform strong external fixation or internal fixation to promote fracture recovery; the third is to perform functional exercise of the affected limb to restore the flexion and extension of the affected limb. Therefore, after the patient shows tibiofibular fracture, it must be actively treated. If the fracture end alignment is better, conservative treatment can be adopted. If the fracture has obvious injury displacement, it needs manipulation, or surgical reduction to restore the alignment of the fracture. Then after the fracture, we must take a firm fixation method to limit the movement of the fracture, so as to create conditions for fracture recovery. After the fracture is stable, we must actively exercise the muscle strength and joint flexion and extension function of the affected limb to restore the normal function of the lower limbs.
