How long can finger fracture heal?

The treatment of finger fracture is divided into two kinds, one is the conservative treatment of manual reduction finger splint external fixation, the other is the surgical treatment of open reduction plate screw internal fixation. For patients with conservative treatment, functional exercise can be carried out after 4~6 weeks of fixation; for patients with surgical treatment, functional exercise can be carried out about one week after operation. For patients with finger fracture who carry out functional exercise, no pain displacement of fracture end after two weeks of exercise is regarded as clinical recovery.
