What is the cause of the bulge after acupuncture?

Committed to your well-being.
After acupuncture bulging may be related to hematoma, allergic reaction, infection and other factors.
1. Hematoma There
are many small veins or superficial capillaries under the skin of the human body. Acupuncture is easy to cause these small veins or capillaries to rupture and bleed. Blood seeps into the skin, which will form hematoma, resulting in bulging symptoms.
2. Allergic reaction
Before acupuncture, disinfectants are usually used to disinfect the needles. If you are allergic to certain components in the disinfectants, allergic reactions will occur after acupuncture.
3. Infection
If you fail to strictly observe sterile practices during acupuncture operations, or the patient's skin hygiene is not good, it may lead to infection at the acupuncture site and bulging.
