About Infantile Colds

Acute upper respiratory tract infection (ALRI) is the most common disease in children. It is caused mostly by viruses, partly by bacteria, or by mixed infections. Its clinical manifestations are milder in older children. It can include runny nose, nasal congestion, cough, sore throat, or fever. In some cases, it can be accompanied by abdominal pain. Infants with acute onset, can be accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea, high fever can be to high fever convulsion, physical examination in general good condition, throat congestion, can be accompanied by submandibular lymph node enlargement.
